TRANSCRIPTION GLOBAL ANNOUNCES REBRAND AS LANGUAGE INSIGHT PRESTON, UK (January 21st) – Digital language solutions provider Transcription Global has rebranded as Language Insight. The Preston-based business made the decision to rebrand in order to better reflect the full package of language solutions it offers: translation, interpreting and transcription. As part of the rebrand, Language Insight has launched a new website and custom-designed a unique secure file sharing system. In an increasingly digital age, customers now expect to be able to work on the move and the new Secure Client Portal facilitates this. Once registered for Language Insight’s services, customers are assigned a password-protected area of the portal, where they can go to upload files, get a quote and monitor the progress of their translation or transcription. All common audio and document file types are compatible with the Secure Client Portal and files can be uploaded 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world providing customers have a web-enabled device. Language Insight’s project management team then start work immediately assigning files to typists or translators, or booking an interpreter. Security is at the heart of the Secure Client Portal’s design. All data is sent through a dedicated fibre leased line that is used only by Language Insight, so secure data transfer is guaranteed. In addition, all streamed data is encrypted, to ensure it is fully secure. Clients have portal access through an encrypted web server using https:// protocols and work is streamed to typists and translators, rather than being downloaded. This means files never leave the safety of the portal. This is part of Language Insight’s ISO 9001-certified commitment to quality, as is its vigorous quality assurance process. Once typed or translated, files are thoroughly checked by one of the highly-experienced project coordinators before being returned to the client’s area of the portal. The project coordinator will inform the client their finished work is ready for collection via email or instant messaging and will also provide regular updates throughout the process. Another unique aspect of the Secure Client Portal is that customers can monitor their project’s progress 24 hours a day, tracking what stage it is at and the number of files to have been submitted within any timeframe they specify. This allows them to keep track of the cost of the whole project or individual departmental spending.
