Language Insight is proud to announce our recent acceptance as members of the American Translators Association (ATA).

ATA, founded in 1959, is the largest professional association of translators and interpreters in the U.S. with over 11,000 members in more than 90 countries. ATA is a not-for-profit membership organization with the primary goals of encouraging the professional development of translators and interpreters and promoting the translation and interpreting professions. It is governed by its Bylaws, which define the scope and nature of its activities, and an elected Board of Directors, which conducts the business of the group. ATA is incorporated as a 501(c)(6) association in the State of New York.

The mission of ATA is to benefit translators and interpreters by promoting recognition of their societal and commercial value, facilitating communication among all its members, establishing standards of competence and ethics, and educating both its members and the public. Membership in the American Translators Association is an invaluable asset to translators and interpreters working in the industry.

On top of our membership with the Association of Translation Companies (ATC) and our ISO 9001 and Investors in People awards, this membership is a demonstration of our desire to promote professionalism, quality and good conduct amongst our translators and our clients. It provides recognition that Transcription Global abides by and educates others about the standards of competence and ethics in the translation industry, both domestically and abroad. As one of the leading language service providers in the UK, the membership with ATA offers further confirmation of our translation credentials.
