We are delighted to announce that Language Insight’s Charity of the Year for 2021-2022 is Cash for Kids. Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity helping the children that need it most across the UK. Last year we chose Mind as our Charity of the Year as we wanted to support key workers and anyone who might be struggling with their mental health during this challenging time. In 2021 Covid-19 is still having a huge impact on our lives in the UK, with the whole country still in its third national lockdown. This year we have decided that we want to support local families and children in poverty who may have suffered even more due to the effects of the pandemic. Cash for Kids’ mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our communities who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs. They believe that all children should be able to express their individuality, achieve their potential and live life to the full. Cash for Kids work with grass-roots organisations that aim to make a difference to young lives, directly supporting families who often have nowhere else to go. “We are proud to be working with Cash for Kids as our chosen charity for this year. Cash for Kids is a charity that I have admired and personally donated to for several years so I am very excited for Language Insight to begin fundraising for this great cause. I hope that we can work alongside the team at Rock FM to raise as much money as possible so that we can support local children and families that are struggling throughout Lancashire.” Says Language Insight’s Managing Director Donna Twose. In 2020 alone Cash for Kids raised over £19 million across the UK and have supported 384,402 children throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Language Insight are proud to be supporting Cash for Kids with the amazing work that they do throughout 2021 and we hope that we can help make a difference. Working with Rock FM As a Lancashire-based business we will be working with the team at Rock FM who manage Cash for Kids Lancashire. Nikki Thompson, Charity Manager at Rock FM’s Cash For Kids has welcomed Language Insight as a charity partner and states “We are delighted to have gained the support of Language Insight so that we can continue to help the most vulnerable children in our community.
