Our 10-year journey in numbers

As a leading language services provider, we are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year as 2019 marks a decade since Language Insight was founded, and what a journey it has been! We have grown overwhelmingly since 2009, going from a small business venture started by our Managing Director Donna Twose to now being an industry leader with offices in Preston, New York and London.

For the 2018/2019 financial year, Language Insight achieved remarkable sales growth with an increase of 33.4% against the previous year. This growth is a result of heavy investment in marketing, recruitment of key team members, office expansion and the continued delivery of customer-focused, high-quality translation and language services, which is clearly demonstrated by our less than 0.05% client loss. We have also bolstered our growth by nurturing existing international client relationships in the market research, healthcare and legal fields whilst expanding our reach to new business in a variety of sectors worldwide,

As a result of our continuous growth, we have had to increase our staff intake significantly over the past few years and now employ staff worldwide throughout Europe and the US. New members have been appointed across a variety of internal teams including sales and marketing, project management, in-house language teams including translation and quality assurance, as well as finance. We are also continuing to invest both financial and human resources into our transcreation service, as well as investing heavily in Language Insight’s digital language services.

In 2017, we relocated from our original headquarters that were in Preston city centre, to a larger, three-storey HQ in Kirkham just outside of Preston which now has over 40 in-house staff working there. We have also opened offices in London and New York and have plans in the pipeline to open new offices in Europe within the next year.

The dedication that Language Insight has had over the past 10 years to providing high-quality language services is demonstrated by our numerous accreditations. Over the past few years, we have received three ISO accreditations for our Quality Management Systems, Information Security Systems and our Translation Services Management.

Our most recent achievement, however, is winning The Queen’s Award For Enterprise For International Trade 2019. The award was given to Language Insight due to our commitment to international trade which now makes up 49% of the company’s turnover. Back in June 2019, our Directors celebrated this achievement at Buckingham Palace where they were invited to attend a royal reception hosted by HRH Prince Charles.

When asked to comment on Language Insight’s success over the past 10 years, our MD Donna Twose stated “I cannot believe that it has been ten years since Language Insight was founded. I would personally like to thank everyone who has worked with us over the past decade, including all of our staff and clients, as without them we wouldn’t be where we are today.”

Language Insight celebrates 10th anniversary by hosting a festival themed party called ’10-Fest’

We are determined to make sure that this year is just as successful as our previous 10 years, and are looking forward to seeing what the future holds as we continue to grow and provide quality language services to our clients worldwide. We have already begun celebrating this milestone by hosting our very own festival themed party called ’10-Fest’ which we will be sharing all over our social media later this week.
