Language Insight is currently recruiting for German> English freelance, audio translators/transcribers. We require you to directly transcribe from German audio into English text.    We pay these projects on a rate per recorded minute and we always pay our linguists one month in arrears.   For each project, you will receive an audio file, a typing template and reference materials relating to the subject. We try to allocate multiple files from the same project to the same linguists meaning you can gather speed as you become familiar with the topic.   Our projects cover a range of subject matters; however, we mainly work within the Market Research Industry both Medical and Consumer. • Be native English
• Have a least 3 years’ experience in transcription
• Have excellent spelling and grammar
• Be a highly proficient typist
• Have the ability to research terminology
• Ideally have headphones and a foot pedal, but you will be able to manage without.
